In class 9, Exams are conducted at school level. Paper is comprehensive and includes questions of Physics, Chemistry and Biology under the name Science.
The pattern of Chemistry Paper for class 9; depends upon the examiner. In general, the teachers ask subjective problems which are to be answered in answer book given. There is no negative marking in such pattern but a poor presentation of answers can go negative for student. Teachers may reduce a few marks for students in case of poor presentation although answer is right. To avoid this, students are advised to write answer in clear meaningful language. Sentences should be simple and complete. Write your answers with proper space between the words and lines. Start new question with gap of one line.
Some Teachers do ask objective questions also. Objective questions have options, in which correct option is/are to be marked.
